When performing their tasks mentioned departments broadly use all available facilities of the Institute: laboratories; field measurement teams and equipment, library, documentation and information center, etc.

	Hydraulic Laboratory with a hall of 4 000 square meters and large outdoor space, equipped for scale model investigations of hydraulic structures, river engineering works, maritime engineering works, industrial problems, etc. The main Laboratory facilities are: large flume, wave flume, channel for calibration of current meters and model tanks (about 780 m2).
